SeatGeek's prior policy stated that if an event is canceled, you will be given a full refund. However, SeatGeek unilaterally changed its policy in order to issue vouchers for a future purchase.
When customers purchased tickets, they were purchasing access to an event. If the event gets canceled, they should be able to get refunds. That has always been this company’s policy, until now.
Adjusting a refund policy after tickets were purchased would be considered a breach of contract.
